Founders and Directors
Meet our founders, Directors, and educators of NVSI, Christina and Eric Threeton. They are a dynamic educator couple who have been teaching and leading schools in Las Vegas for over a decade. They began their careers as teachers in the Clark County School District before transitioning into the charter school system, where they played key roles in launching new schools and helping existing ones earn Nevada's highest ranking of 5 stars. Most recently, both served as administrators at separate Las Vegas charter schools before channeling that experience and momentum into founding the Nevada School of Inquiry.
Christina holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and two master's degrees — an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. Born and raised in Las Vegas, she has a deep love for the city, its surrounding natural wonders, and the broader community.
Eric holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. Originally from New England, he moved to Las Vegas after serving in the United States Marine Corps and never looked back. Both Christina and Eric hold Nevada State K-8 teaching licenses with endorsements in school administration.
Outside of school, Christina and Eric share a passion for the outdoors, travel, and exploration — values that directly shape their educational philosophy. They are also deeply committed to community service and strive to instill that same spirit in the students they serve.
